Love how beautiful they turned out , definitely worth saving the dried calendula petals from my garden and incorporate them into the masa
Lentil picadillo empanadas with spicy yoghurt crema ! I made the empanadas extra special by adding dried calendula petals from my garden into the masa , they add such a pretty color and touch .
To me the this is balance between a bit naughty and heal
I woke up missing México  and my family ! It’s getting harder specially not knowing when I’ll see them again.
Being at my parents house and having their food would always make me feel better , I have been missing that comfort,  so
Tetelitas made for a special friend and her little bump 🤰🏼❤️, filled with refried beans and chorizo topped with finely chopped onion and the best creme fraiche from neal’s yard ! Simple but very delicious .

While I reflect on some things in my life and the world as it is at the moment I came up with these two recipes that I hope you would love too !

Prickly pear salsita with habanero and plenty of onion and lime 🔥
Because sometimes all you need is a good salsita , I had most of this with tortilla chips but is perfect served with pan fried fish like sea bass , cod or halibut , make yourself this
